The work Returning from Church by Stepan Kolesnikoff was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,618.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Stepan Kolesnikoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festival in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,398.43).

Die Arbeit Returning from Church von Stepan Kolesnikoff wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.618,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stepan Kolesnikoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Festival im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 155.398,43).
