This artwork by Stepan Kolesnikoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Washday sold for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 38,173.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stepan Kolesnikoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festival in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,398.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stepan Kolesnikoff erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Washday für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 38.173,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stepan Kolesnikoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Festival im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 155.398,43).
