Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Farmyard by Stepan Kolesnikoff for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,523.41). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stepan Kolesnikoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Festival in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,398.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Farmyard von Stepan Kolesnikoff für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.523,41) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stepan Kolesnikoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Festival im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 155.398,43).
