Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Church In The Snow by Stepan Kolesnikoff was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,500.00 (€ 7,802.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stepan Kolesnikoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Festival in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,398.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Church In The Snow von Stepan Kolesnikoff wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.500,00 (€ 7.802,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stepan Kolesnikoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Festival im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 155.398,43).
