Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stefan Hirsig could be acquired at Phillips in London in September 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the NOW: Art of the 21st Century auction, the work Safari Beta 2.4I changed hands for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,187.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Stefan Hirsig have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1+ 2 + 3 in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,800.00 (€ 15,509.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stefan Hirsig konnte im September 2009 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion NOW: Art of the 21st Century wechselte die Arbeit Safari Beta 2.4I für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.187,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stefan Hirsig auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1+ 2 + 3 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.800,00 (€ 15.509,51).
