Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Stay High 149 achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October this year. In the Urban & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Live and Let die - 2011 sold for EUR 2,099.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stay High 149 - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, which sold at auction in October 2015 for EUR 4,550.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stay High 149 erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Live and Let die - 2011 für EUR 2.099,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stay High 149 mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für EUR 4.550,00 versteigert wurde.
