The work Trade Center by Stanley Donwood was worth GBP 118,750.00 (€ 140,686.68) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Christies and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Stanley Donwood; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Residential Nemesis sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 162,900.36).
