A top price for Stanley Anderson - as previously expected
The work Evening Glow; and Summers Lease (illustrated) by Stanley Anderson was sold in the British Art on Paper auction at Christies in London in November 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,552.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Evening Glow; and Summers Lease (illustrated) is the most expensive artwork by Stanley Anderson that we have observed at auctions so far.
