Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Couple by Stanislaw Eleszkievicz was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. The price achieved of EUR 5,738.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanislaw Eleszkievicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Homme Au Gramophone in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 74,890.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.738,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanislaw Eleszkievicz erzielen.
