Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Polish Souk In Constantinople by Stanislaus von Chlebowski was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2009. The price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,801.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanislaus von Chlebowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polish at Prayer, Hagia Sophia in April 2016 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 159,787.17).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.801,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden.
