The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 576.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stan Kaminski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work African Leopard In A Tree in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56).

Die Arbeit Gazing in the mirror (illustrated); and Deep in thought von Stan Kaminski wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 500,00 (€ 576,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stan Kaminski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit African Leopard In A Tree im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.484,56).
