Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work San Giorgio Maggiore by Stan Kaminski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 325.00 (€ 365.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stan Kaminski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work African Leopard In A Tree in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit San Giorgio Maggiore von Stan Kaminski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 325,00 (€ 365,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stan Kaminski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit African Leopard In A Tree im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.484,56).
