In October 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cooling off by Stan Kaminski. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,882.54), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stan Kaminski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work African Leopard In A Tree, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cooling off von Stan Kaminski zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.882,54) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Stan Kaminski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit African Leopard In A Tree beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.484,56) versteigert wurde.
