Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Monastères by Spyros Papaloukas was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 9,562.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spyros Papaloukas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek boatyard At Pantokrator Monastery, Mount Athos in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 141,250.00 (€ 160,339.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Monastères von Spyros Papaloukas wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 9.562,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Spyros Papaloukas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek boatyard At Pantokrator Monastery, Mount Athos im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 141.250,00 (€ 160.339,76).
