This artwork by Spyros Papaloukas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2020. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Temple of Afea, Aegina sold for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,539.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spyros Papaloukas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek boatyard At Pantokrator Monastery, Mount Athos in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 141,250.00 (€ 160,339.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Spyros Papaloukas erzielte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Temple of Afea, Aegina für GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.539,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Spyros Papaloukas erzielen.
