A top price for Spencer Hodge - as previously expected
The work Cheetah at Ngorogoro Crater by Spencer Hodge was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,297.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cheetah at Ngorogoro Crater is the most expensive artwork by Spencer Hodge that we have observed at auctions so far.
