This artwork by Speedy Graphito achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December last year. In the Roméo Sarfati Collection auction, the work Le sixième sens - 2002 sold for EUR 2,886.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Speedy Graphito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Captain Spray - 2010 in February 2016 with an auction result of EUR 37,700.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Speedy Graphito erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Roméo Sarfati Collection wurde die Arbeit Le sixième sens - 2002 für EUR 2.886,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Speedy Graphito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Captain Spray - 2010 im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.700,00.
