In March 2014 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Minotaur by Sophie Ryder. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,631.05), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophie Ryder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high in November last year with an auction result of GBP 94,800.00 (€ 109,851.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im März 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Minotaur von Sophie Ryder zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.631,05) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sophie Ryder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.800,00 (€ 109.851,55).
