Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Bonhams in London held the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women, which included the work Ladyhare and dog by Sophie Ryder. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,063.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophie Ryder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high in November last year with an auction result of GBP 94,800.00 (€ 109,851.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ladyhare and dog von Sophie Ryder zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.063,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sophie Ryder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.800,00 (€ 109.851,55).
