Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Best Friends by Sophie Anderson was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,638.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophie Anderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No Walk Today in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,038,050.00 (€ 1,255,080.46).

Die Arbeit Best Friends von Sophie Anderson kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.638,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sophie Anderson erzielen.
