This artwork by Sonja Ferlov Mancoba achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in March this year. In the Modern art and design auction, the work without title sold for DKK 7,500.00 (€ 1,006.48) - well above the estimate of DKK 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sonja Ferlov Mancoba achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Continents with Masks, c in December this year with an auction result of DKK 100,000.00 (€ 13,415.30).
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sonja Ferlov Mancoba erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern art and design wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für DKK 7.500,00 (€ 1.006,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sonja Ferlov Mancoba erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Four Continents with Masks, c im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 100.000,00 (€ 13.415,30).
