In April 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Iranian untitled by Sonia Balassanian. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,174.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Sonia Balassanian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2016 the work without title was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,923.62).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranian untitled von Sonia Balassanian zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 19.174,46) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sonia Balassanian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2016 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.923,62) versteigert.
