Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition 7201 by Sonia Balassanian was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,098.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sonia Balassanian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2016 the work without title was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,923.62).
