The work Landscape by Song Wenzhi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 192,000.00 (€ 24,603.99), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Wenzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,478,000.00 (€ 279,026.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Song Wenzhi wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 24.603,99) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Wenzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.478.000,00 (€ 279.026,47).
