Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A View Of Tunxi by Song Wenzhi was sold in the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors auction at POLY in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,467.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Wenzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,478,000.00 (€ 279,026.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A View Of Tunxi von Song Wenzhi wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.467,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Wenzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.478.000,00 (€ 279.026,47).
