Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Peonies by Song Weiyuan. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,213.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Song Weiyuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Landscape was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,746.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peonies von Song Weiyuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.213,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Song Weiyuan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.746,53) versteigert.
