A top price for Song Weiyuan - as previously expected
The work Landscape by Song Weiyuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,746.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Song Weiyuan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Landscape von Song Weiyuan kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.746,53) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Song Weiyuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
