Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work 10 Pinselstriche by Song Hyun-Sook. The price achieved of HKD 50,625.00 (€ 5,546.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Song Hyun-Sook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 17 Brushstrokes in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 29,746.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 10 Pinselstriche von Song Hyun-Sook zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.625,00 (€ 5.546,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Hyun-Sook auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 17 Brushstrokes im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 29.746,35).
