Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Wisteria and Bird by Song Guangbao was worth HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,156.45) to a buyer in May 2013. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Song Guangbao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Assorted Fruits in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,566.91).
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Wisteria and Bird von Song Guangbao war einem Käufer im Mai 2013 HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.156,45) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Guangbao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Assorted Fruits im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.566,91).
