The work Assorted Fruits by Song Guangbao was worth HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,566.91) to a buyer in May 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Assorted Fruits the most expensive artwork by Song Guangbao that we have observed at auctions so far.
