Despite a disappointment, a good price for Sol Libsohn
In December 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work East Side, near Delancey Street, New York, 1940s by Sol Libsohn for USD 937.50 (€ 722.65). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs Including Crossing America: Photographs from The Consolidated Freightways Collection, Part II at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house.
