Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Soimadou Ali Ibrahim could be acquired at Phillips in Hong Kong in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now & Design auction, the work Youthful Innocence changed hands for HKD 12,700.00 (€ 1,490.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Soimadou Ali Ibrahim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Relax and take notes in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 107,100.00 (€ 94,887.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Soimadou Ali Ibrahim konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now & Design wechselte die Arbeit Youthful Innocence für HKD 12.700,00 (€ 1.490,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Soimadou Ali Ibrahim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Relax and take notes im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 94.887,92).
