The result of SEK 4,000.00 (€ 410.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sixten Lundbohm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boat at the dock in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,051.01).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Stadsmotiv von Sixten Lundbohm wurde im März 2010 in der Auktion Lilla Bukowskis S192 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 4.000,00 (€ 410,47) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sixten Lundbohm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boat at the dock im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.051,01).
