Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Columns by Sixten Lundbohm for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,940.78). This price was achieved in the auction The Modern Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sixten Lundbohm - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boat at the dock, which sold at auction in October 2018 for SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,051.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Columns von Sixten Lundbohm für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.940,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Modern Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sixten Lundbohm mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Boat at the dock beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.051,01) versteigert wurde.
