In June 2010 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work Perseus and Andromeda by William Blake Richmond. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,241.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Blake Richmond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Watchers in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 81,426.82).
