Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work The North Front Of Pembroke Castle, Pembrokeshire, North Wales by Richard Colt Hoare for GBP 562.00 (€ 763.17). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Colt Hoare - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pembroke Castle, South Wales, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,008.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The North Front Of Pembroke Castle, Pembrokeshire, North Wales von Richard Colt Hoare für GBP 562,00 (€ 763,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
