It achieved a price of GBP 37,750.00 (€ 44,322.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kyffin Williams; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of GBP 57,600.00 (€ 84,621.68).
