Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 336.00 (€ 499.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hugh Casson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An original architectural plan for the Festival of Britain, 1951 in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,525.16).
