In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Miss Katherine Grant (The Lady in White) by Hubert von Herkomer. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 81,250.00 (€ 96,914.21), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Miss Katherine Grant (The Lady in White) is even the most expensive work of art by Hubert von Herkomer that we have observed at auctions so far.
