A top price for Ernest Albert Waterlow - as previously expected
In September 2007 Christies in London held the auction Exploration and Travel, which included the work In His Hand are the Deep Places of the Earth' (Psalm XCV) by Ernest Albert Waterlow. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 31,689.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, In His Hand are the Deep Places of the Earth' (Psalm XCV) is the most expensive artwork by Ernest Albert Waterlow that we have observed at auctions so far.
