Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work Bringing Home The Flock, Knowle Hill, Berkshire by Ernest Albert Waterlow. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,317.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Albert Waterlow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In His Hand are the Deep Places of the Earth' (Psalm XCV) in September 2007 with an auction result of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 31,689.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bringing Home The Flock, Knowle Hill, Berkshire von Ernest Albert Waterlow zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.317,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Albert Waterlow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In His Hand are the Deep Places of the Earth' (Psalm XCV) im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.100,00 (€ 31.689,77).
