Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lorne by David Young Cameron was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,095.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Young Cameron - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Castle Urquhart and Loch Ness, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,851.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lorne von David Young Cameron wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.095,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Young Cameron mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Castle Urquhart and Loch Ness beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.851,80) versteigert wurde.
