The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,200.15) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Donaldson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young girl in an interior, which sold at auction in October 2003 for GBP 10,516.00 (€ 15,359.57).
