Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Off to the stables by Alfred East for GBP 625.00 (€ 796.65). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred East achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Amberley Bridge in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 25,138.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Off to the stables von Alfred East für GBP 625,00 (€ 796,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred East erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Amberley Bridge im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 25.138,36).
