Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Man by Simon Vouet. The price achieved of GBP 245,000.00 (€ 291,113.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Simon Vouet have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Madonna and Child was auctioned for USD 504,000.00 (€ 469,667.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Man von Simon Vouet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 245.000,00 (€ 291.113,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Simon Vouet konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Madonna and Child für USD 504.000,00 (€ 469.667,32) versteigert.
