Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Roses, an iris and other flowers in a vase on a ledge by Simon Verelst was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. It achieved a price of EUR 6,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Verelst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, irises, poppies and other flowers in a glass vase on a ledge in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 523,000.00 (€ 561,882.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Roses, an iris and other flowers in a vase on a ledge von Simon Verelst kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Verelst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses, irises, poppies and other flowers in a glass vase on a ledge im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 523.000,00 (€ 561.882,25).
