Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dalias, tulips, blue irises and other flowers in a glass vase on a stone ledge by Simon Verelst was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Verelst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, irises, poppies and other flowers in a glass vase on a ledge in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 523,000.00 (€ 561,882.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dalias, tulips, blue irises and other flowers in a glass vase on a stone ledge von Simon Verelst kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Verelst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses, irises, poppies and other flowers in a glass vase on a ledge im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 523.000,00 (€ 561.882,25).
