Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Resting man in sun chair. by Sigrid Hjertén was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. It achieved a price of SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,067.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sigrid Hjertén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Iván i fåtöljen" (Iván in the armchair) in November 2018 with an auction result of SEK 8,700,000.00 (€ 844,414.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Resting man in sun chair. von Sigrid Hjertén wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.067,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sigrid Hjertén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Iván i fåtöljen" (Iván in the armchair) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 8.700.000,00 (€ 844.414,02).
