A top price for Siew Hock Meng
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work The Loft by Siew Hock Meng. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 362,500.00 (€ 41,898.29), 29% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Loft is even the most expensive work of art by Siew Hock Meng that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Loft von Siew Hock Meng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 362.500,00 (€ 41.898,29) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Loft sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Siew Hock Meng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
