In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work Betws-y-Coed, North Wales by Sidney Richard Percy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,312.50 (€ 12,561.57), 62% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sidney Richard Percy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cader Idris, North Wales in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 73,875.00 (€ 84,415.06).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Betws-y-Coed, North Wales von Sidney Richard Percy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.312,50 (€ 12.561,57) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sidney Richard Percy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cader Idris, North Wales im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.875,00 (€ 84.415,06).
